Aerobics

With the Sportsworld instructors you get a team dedicated to giving you the best workout with choice, variety and fun. Our instructors are qualified and all continue with training and retraining to give you the best class possible whether you're deconditioned or the supreme athlete. Specialty group classes can also be arranged.


Class Descriptions

Please read the following class descriptions so that you can get the most out of your workout and remain injury free. The warm-up is important to avoid injury so for safety reasons, please do not enter a class if you are more than 5 minutes late. All classes finish with abdominal work and stretching, it is recommended that you stay for this section to ensure muscle balance, flexibility and aid recovery. Remember, when participating in any class always go at your own pace.


Abs 'n' Butts

ALL LEVELS
30 minute class dedicated to tightening up those problem areas.

Aerobox

ALL LEVELS
Improve your fitness, strength and stamina with this interval cardio workout. Incorporated boxing techniques will challenge your mind and body.

Aquafit

ALL LEVELS
A cool and invigorating class to suit everyone. Great for rehabilitation, pre & post natal as well as regular exercisers. No swimming skills required.

AQUA FIT can improve cardiovascular fitness, co-ordination and balance, it can increase your motivation and help prevent diseases such as diabetes, heart conditions, obesity, high blood pressure and much more. Whether you're a top level athlete or a couch potato, you want to feel great and look great in our climate, so it's time to give AQUA FIT a try. Special group sessions can be booked for your club or sports team.

Body Attack

MODERATE FITNESS REQD.
A high energy, calorie consuming, athletic workout that will push you past the limit with strong, simple moves and pumping music.

Fat Burner

ALL LEVELS
As the name implies, this class will get you into the fat-burning zone with simple, easy to follow moves designed to target those areas we love to hate.

Circuit Basics

ALL LEVELS
Simple, straight forward. Will suit beginners through to moderate fitness level. A good introductory class to group exercise.


Pilates

ALL LEVELS
This latest fitness trend combines intense core stability work, strength and stretching.

Pilates Technique

BEGINNERS
Learn about your posture, body awareness and core control before attending a Pilates class or just improve your training technique.

Body Pump

ALL LEVELS
An awesome, motivating weights class. Great music, great results! There is a range of weights to choose from so it's easy to start light. Prior to attending a Body Pump class you must first attend a Pump Technique class to ensure you get the most out of Body Pump.

Learn the basic techniques and maximise your ability, get the most out of the exciting BODY PUMP class.

RPM

ALL LEVELS
Take the ultimate ride! RPM incorporates cycling, choreography and motivational coaching techniques to give you a completely safe, aerobic, adrenaline ride. We recommend you arrive 10 minutes before the class to adjust your ride to suit.


RPM Express

ALL LEVELS
The ultimate ride in a half hour class.


Body Step

MODERATE FITNESS REQD.
A powerful step class with dynamic, motivating music. Because set routines are used, even the uncoordinated will feel this one, yet the variety of moves satisfies experienced steppers.
